SOO
Orientation Sessions
Student organizations are required to complete a SOO Orientation
Session as part of the student organization registration process. Orientation
sessions provide up to date information on university policies and procedures,
available resources, and funding opportunities. Completion of a SOO Orientation
Session is required prior to final approval of your registration.
If your organization was registered last year, once you
complete the online paperwork, the primary contact person will be given
access to an online orientation program on Learn at UW, simply view the
video and take the quiz at the end to complete your orientation process.
For organizations that were not registered last year, a
representative from the group must attend an orientation session as scheduled
below. Orientation sessions are scheduled on a regular basis. Please send
any student representative from the group (not necessarily the primary
contact person,) who will share the information with the rest of the organizational
members.
Online Orientation session
for student groups who were registered last year will be available beginning
August 15th. The primary contact of the group will receive an email once
they have been authorized to complete the Learn @ UW online orientation.
For groups who were not
registered last year, face to face orientation sessions will begin on
Wednesday, August 27th. See below for times and locations.
Please call for an appointment at 608.263.0365.
