How do I become a member of SLP?

To become a member, simply attend our kick off at the beginning of the semester, or fill out our request form.

Who is eligibile to become a member?

Any UW-Madison student can become a member of SLP. One of the greatest aspects of SLP is our different Levels of Commitment depending on how much time you want to offer. Every level of membership requires four basic requirements:

• Attend general member meetings every other Wednesday evening from 5:30 - 7:00pm
• Attend at least five SLP leadership events per semester
• Become an active member of an SLP committee
• Attend our annual leadership conference in February held on campus

Every member that fulfills these requirements in a semester will be recognized at our end of the semester volunteer recognition banquet.
